Project Recovery and Technical Management

DJWA was appointed to take over and recover 3 troubled data centre developments owned by Global Switch in Amsterdam, Paris and Madrid. The three buildings were at different stages of development and experiencing different problems. We rescued the projects by putting together management teams to complete the works on site in Amsterdam and Madrid. We were also instrumental in planning and completing the commissioning of the Paris facility.

Once the projects were back on track, we facilitated investment into the new Global Switch Limited Partnership, securing investment from Morley Fund Management We conceived, administered, and managed this transaction including performing due diligence and physical assessment of the various properties.

DJWA was later requested to return to Amsterdam to put to work and re-commission various chilled water systems that had lain dormant for eight years. The project was the largest non-industrial chilled water system in the Netherlands. On completion of these works DJWA then provided management for the fitting out of two technical halls for AT&T, Shell and Microsoft.
